Overview
C-GJED is a lightweight, purpose-built backcountry aircraft completed in 2001 by G.E. Sprague and registered as a Raven. Originally based on a J-3 platform, it was professionally converted to the Amateur-Built category with clipped wings and a PA-18-style tail, delivering the control authority and performance pilots expect from a Super Cub-type aircraft-at a fraction of the operating cost.
With only 1126 hours since new on the airframe and 190 hours since overhaul on the engine, this is an exceptionally low-time airframe and engine combination. Following the owner's passing in 2020, the engine was properly pickled, and the aircraft has remained hangar-stored since.
Following the builder and owner's passing in 2020, the engine was properly pickled and the aircraft has remained hangar-stored since.
Reason for Sale: Succession sale due to the passing of the original builder and owner.
