PlaneFox is an aircraft marketplace built by pilots, for everyone who loves aviation. It brings together one of the largest collections of aircraft listings in Europe and pairs them with tools that actually feel modern.
PlaneFox was built by two people who wanted to buy a plane together. Lexie is a pilot. Julian is a student pilot. For the better part of a year they searched for the right aircraft, and kept running into the same wall: the established marketplaces felt dated, the information was hard to pull out, and the modern features they expected simply were not there.
So Julian started doing the legwork himself. He contacted dealers, dug through the quiet corners of the internet, and made a discovery: there are far more aircraft for sale than most buyers ever get to see. A large share of them never appear on any marketplace at all.
To keep track of it all, he built a system that quietly collected and organised these listings. It worked so well that keeping it to themselves stopped making sense. They opened it up, and PlaneFox was born.
Free for everyone. Free for buyers. Free for dealers.
We pair one of the largest collections of aircraft listings on the internet with technology that saves you time.
Selling privately? Paste the URL of your existing listing and our AI agent reads it, pulls out the details, and builds your PlaneFox listing for you.
PlaneFox runs an MCP server, so you can connect ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants to search and research aircraft directly.
Save the aircraft you like, and let price alerts and new-listing alerts land in your inbox the moment something changes.
Anyone can list. Private owners and professional dealers upload aircraft through the same simple flow.
Dealer inventories are imported automatically, so a dealer's planes appear on PlaneFox without extra work.
Per-listing statistics sit alongside search-volume and demand data, helping dealers see what buyers are looking for and decide what to source next.
Buyers browse for free, private sellers list for free, and dealers list for free. Our goal is a more transparent market, and getting more people into the air.
We focus on Europe and cover both aeroplanes and helicopters. Because we gather listings from broker sites as well as from private sellers and dealers, PlaneFox holds one of the largest collections of aircraft listings you will find online.
There is a lot more on the way. Next up:
We are always looking for people to collaborate with, whether you are a dealer, a developer, or simply someone who loves aviation. If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
