The SIAI-Marchetti SF.260 is a high-performance, single-engine, low-wing aircraft developed in Italy from a Stelio Frati design. The prototype first flew in 1964, with production beginning in the mid 1960s and continuing through later SIAI-Marchetti and Aermacchi ownership. It was built primarily as a military basic trainer, liaison aircraft and aerobatic platform, while civil versions served as fast touring aircraft for private owners.
