The Sikorsky S-76 is a medium twin engine helicopter developed by Sikorsky Aircraft for corporate transport, offshore energy support, emergency medical services and government missions. The prototype first flew in 1977, with customer deliveries beginning in 1979. Production continued for more than four decades, with major variants including the S-76A, S-76B, S-76C, S-76C+, S-76C++ and S-76D. Its importance in the used market comes from its combination of IFR capability, retractable landing gear, a dedicated passenger cabin and broad global operator support.
