For Sale: Van's RV-7 Kit / project – Empennage and Wings 95% Complete. It is the tail dragger version with slider canopy.
Due to changed personal circumstances, I have decided to part with my project.
Build status:
• Empennage (horizontal and vertical stabilizer, elevator, rudder): approx. 95% complete
• Wings (spars, fuel tank, ailerons, flaps, skins): approx. 95% complete
• Fuselage: not yet started
• Finishing kit: included
Kit details:
This is one of the earlier pre-punched ("punched") kits from Van's Aircraft – not the later laser-cut version. All matched-hole components were factory-punched, which many builders appreciate.
All completed parts have been built with care in a clean workshop. Workmanship is neat, with properly driven rivets and deburred edges. All remaining parts, hardware, drawings, and builder's documentation are included, so the new owner can continue the project right away.
The RV-7 is an excellent two-seat, aerobatic-capable cross-country aircraft and one of the most popular homebuilt designs worldwide – with an outstanding builder community, excellent documentation, and superb performance.
Pickup only – the wings and empennage would need to be transported in a suitable trailer or truck.
