Precision Aeronautics brings to market N27KC, which is a well-optioned and capable 1974 Cessna Turbo T310Q. All logbooks are complete and consecutive for the airframe and engines. The propeller logbooks date back to 1997 (first recorded prop overhauls). The propeller times-in-service appear to be matched (original) to the aircraft, from all records. The most recent annual inspection (12/2025) was very thorough and extensive. Several key maintenance items were accomplished, including the 12-year exhaust system component overhaul/inspections required by AD 2000-01-16R1. Over 95% of the components in the left and right exhaust systems were replaced with new or overhauled parts.
N27KC is located at Granbury Regional Airport in Granbury, TX. N27KC has 4434 TT, 533/533 since engine Rebuild, 439/439 since engine IRAN, and 439 SPOH. The panel was upgraded in recent years (2021) with a Garmin GTN750Xi GPS/NAV/COM system. It also has two Garmin GI275's set up as ADAHRS units, a GNS 430W GPS/NAV/COM, S-TEC 3100 Autopilot system, GTX 330ES Transponder, GMA 340 Audio Panel, an Insight Gemini 1200 engine EGT/CHT/TIT indicator, and more. Other upgrades/notable features include the factory oxygen system, electric propeller de-ice, alcohol windshield deice system, wing and horizontal stabilizer deice boot system, propeller sync system, recently overhauled Southwind combustion heater (2020) and an installed battery-minder system. The Southwind heater has an upgraded pressure switch and the combustion chamber AMOC installed, which eliminates Airworthiness Directive 2017-06-03.
The airplane was last painted in 1984, and the paint does show signs of aging. The interior was last updated in 2000 with re-covered seats and sidewalls, and new carpet at the time. The interior plastic and trim appear to be original, and show typical wear for their age. The deice boots are noted to be at the end of their life-cycle due to aging deterioration.
Factory-rebuilt (zero-time) engines from Continental Motors were installed in 1999. Both propellers were overhauled previously in 1997. N27KC had a nose gear collapse event in late 2004. Engine tear-down/IRAN inspections were completed on both engines, as well as overhauls on both propellers. All necessary airframe repairs were completed by an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station, and were fully documented with an FAA 337 Form and a thorough logbook entry.
N27KC is an great example of a less-common but sought-after turbocharged T310Q with good engine times, excellent utility, and a robust, IFR-capable panel with modern equipment. Please contact me anytime if you are interested in this honest example of a very capable workhorse T310Q. Thank you!
